If you are interested in obtaining an internship in the United States, there are some prerequisites that you should keep in mind. The prerequisites include the following:
· An Understanding of the English Language
The candidates should possess an understanding of the English language which allows the internship to function effectively, and does not hinder the rhythm of the company in question. · Age
There are no age limits to obtain an internship although the visa can only be processed for those students who are at least 18 years old.
· Education
Students in their last two years of their degrees are able to participate in the internship program, as graduate students. For the students who have already finished their degrees, there is always the possibility to gain admittance to the visa as long as the period from the finalization of their studies does not exceed 12 months.
· Flexibility
The student should be characterized as someone with a flexible attitude towards a new culture and a personality that allows them to fulfill their functions in the heart of a North American company.
· Determination and Patience
These characteristics are the difference between the students who would like to go to the USA and those who finally obtain an internship.
